സോഷ്യല്‍ നെറ്റ്‌വര്‍ക്ക് സൈറ്റായ ഫെയ്‌സ്ബുക്കിലെ അംഗങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം നൂറ് കോടി കവിഞ്ഞു. ഫെയ്‌സ് ബുക്ക് സ്ഥാപകനും സി.ഇ.ഒയുമായ മാര്‍ക്ക് സൂക്കര്‍ബര്‍ഗ് തന്റെ ഫെയ്‌സ്ബുക്ക് പോസ്റ്റിലൂടെ ഈ വിവരം അറിയിച്ചത്. ഈ പ്രഭാതത്തില്‍ 100 കോടി ആളുകള്‍ ഫെയ്‌സ്ബുക്കില്‍ സജീവമായി പങ്കാളികളായി എന്നാണ് സൂക്കര്‍ബര്‍ഗ് പോസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തിരിക്ക

അംഗങ്ങളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ കണക്കാക്കിയാല്‍ ചൈനയ്ക്കും, ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്കും പിന്നിലാണ് ഫെയ്‌സ്ബുക്കിന്റെ സ്ഥാനം. 2004 ല്‍ ഹവാര്‍ഡ് യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റിയിലെ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ക്കായി ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സൗഹര്‍ദ കൂട്ടായ്മ പിന്നീട് ലോകത്തിന്റെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട സൈബര്‍ കൂട്ടായ്മയായി മാറുകയായിരുന്നു. 2006 ലാണ് ഹാവാര്‍ഡ് യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റിയിലെ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥിയായിരുന്നു സൂക്കര്‍ ബര്‍ഗ്ഗ് ഫെയ്‌സ് ഔദ്യോഗികമായി ഫെയ്‌സ്ബുക്ക് ആരംഭിച്ചത്. 2009-2010 കാലത്താണ് ഫെയ്‌സ് ബുക്ക് അതിന്റെ ചരിത്രത്തിലെ എറ്റവും വലിയ വളര്‍ച്ച നേടിയത്.

4,000 പേര്‍ ജോലിയെടുക്കുന്ന ഫെയ്‌സ്ബുക്ക് എറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ മാറ്റങ്ങള്‍ വരുത്തിയ വര്‍ഷമായിരുന്നു 2012. ഓഹരികള്‍ വിറ്റും, ടൈംലൈന്‍ സംവിധാനം ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയും വന്‍മാറ്റങ്ങളാണ് വരുത്തിയിരുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍, ഓഹരി വിപണിയില്‍ വേണ്ടത്ര ശോഭിക്കുവാന്‍ ഫെയ്‌സ്ബുക്കിന് സാധിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്ന വിമര്‍ശനവും ഉയരുന്നുണ്ട്.

1. Got to Control Panel
2. Click on “Network and Sharing Centre”
3. Under Tasks choose

“Setup New Connection”
4. Wireless “Ad-hoc network”
5. Now type in a “Network Name”
6. Choose “WEP” password if you don’t want to share the connection with the entire world
7. Click “Internet connection sharing”
8. Done!

വിന്‍ഡോസ്‌ xpആണെങ്കില്‍ ,
1. Go into Control panel
2. Open “Network Connections”
3. Right click on "Wireless Connection" and click on "Properties"
4. Click on the "Wireless Networks" tab and select the check-box which says “Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings”
5. Under “Prefered networks” click “Add”
6. Type a name in “Network name” text box
7. Select “Shared” from the options under “Network Authentication”
8. Under Data encryption select “WEP” and type in your password in “Network Key” field and now click "OK"
9. Now the new HotSpot should show in the list of preferred networks.
10. Click on the “Advance” button and select “Computer-to-computer (ad hoc) networks only" and press close
11. Hit “OK”, we are done with the wireless connection properties

അതിനു ശേഷം നെറ്റ് കിട്ടിയില്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഇതുംകൂടി ചെയ്യുക .

1. Go to local Area Connections, right click it and select properties
2. Go to the “Advanced” tab and under Internet Connection Sharing check the box which says “Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection” and make sure the box under that is NOT selected so that no one can disable the network remotely.
3. Hit “OK”
